The Committee to Support People with Disabilities is a political action committee that raises money to support the programs and services of the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Money raised through committee fundraisers is used to purchase advertisement materials including yard signs, mailers, promotional ads, etc.
The Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities has a Replacement levy on the March 15, 2016 ballot. This levy will benefit nearly 2000 children and adults in Clermont County who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Upon approval, it will replace the effective rates of a .4 mill levy passed in 1979, and a 1 mill levy passed in 1980. This levy maintains the same voted millage.
